Final Day of Filming
Filming Day 2
Today we were outside filming the scenes when all the characters were arriving to shcool. My part was quite easy to film as I was the character that took the bus to college but one of the other characters journey to collge was quite difficult to record because they took the underground to college and the time we chose to record his scene was a peak hour so it was hard to get the right shots, due to the amount of people using the station. The weather was also more suitable for recording as it was sunny and warm which didn't bother us while moving about and filming all the scenes. Below are screenshots of todays filming session.
Filming Day 1
Today we filmed all the shots that take place in college because during the week have a week break from college, as it's half term. The problems with filming in school was that it got a bit too hot which bothered us a lot and while on set the heat didn't help us a bit especially when we got our parts wrong and had to retake the whole scene again. On a whole I enjoyed todays filming session because everyone in our group contributed and gave it their all so we could gain an advantage over the other groups and be ahead of schedule and start editing early, so if anything had to be improved we would have time before the deadline to change or fix it.

Filming
In todays lesson we were disappointed due to the fact we could finish off our filming altogether, a certain indiviual from our group was missing today and another individual forgot to wear the right costume... Therefore this lead to our group delaying the filming to the next lesson with Dan. Today we managed to finish all of the filming for the 'criminal' and 'bully' and we are left with a bit of filming for the 'joker' and the 'jock'. Hopefully we will finish on wednesday !!!

Filming At Chosen Locations - Part 2
Today, we only had the chance to film the character who was playing the jock, due to the weather conditions - heavy rain. We didn't want to risk the equipment being affected by the rain and the rain would of given us bad quality shots so we proceeded with only one scene today which was the jock exiting the tube station and heading towards college.
We wanted to get more shots of 'the jock' inside the tube station for instance going past the barriers, however we weren't allowed to film inside the station.
Here are some screen shots of what we managed to do that day:

- 'The jock' tapping out of the tube station.
- 'The jock' walking out of the tube station, walking towards college.

How I contributed to the pitch
I was given the job calculate the risk assessment involved in our filming and the mise-en-scene e.g: locations and costumes. I contributed to the pitch by making a powerpoint presentation and talking about both the risk assessment and mise-en-scene, when it was time for the pitch to be shown I chose to talk about the two powerpoint presentations I made because it was my produce. For mise-en-scene powerpoint slide I talked about why we picked the clothes and props we picked and talked about how they linked to our characters.
What I could Improve on my Blogs
Looking at the quality of my blogs I think I am lacking screenshots when necessary, my teacher has also told me that I have to start taking screen shots as it would improve the quality of my work. Another thing that could be improved in my blogs is that I could use more examples, e.g: researching shots that were used in a film and link it to my work, as it is another area that I find I am weak in.

Our Pitch, Feedback Given and Changes Made to the Project.
When we were giving our pitch to Dan, he gave us some constructive feedback and advice on how to improve and what to change.
He said that we could make our costumes stand out more from the crowd and be more unique becaus our costumes are too casual at the moment. He also suggested a change in location but as a group we have decided that a change in location would be inconveniant for us.
What we have decided to do with our costumes are a change in colours and dress sense with our characters. Mirkan (Joker) will be dressed in different colours like a rainbow so he stands out and looks different from everyone else. Samet (Jock) will be dressed in full sport clothing and will be carrying a ball around with him to make it obvious to the audience what character he is. Shah (Criminal) will be wearing all black and covering his face with a scarf so he can hide his identity. Mehak (Bully) will be wearing ripped clothing and will look as if she is from a less previlaged background, the way you will acknowledge her being a bully is more through her actions.

Research at Home
I was researching for the most watched teen movie and i have found that the film Harry Potter and the sorcerer's stone has been picked as the most viewed. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone was released in London on 14 November 2001. reviewers comments were positive, as reflected by an 80% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes and by a score of 64% at Metacritic representing 'generally favorable reviews'.
| Budget | $125 million[1] |
|---|---|
| Box office | $974,755,371 |
150 best teen movies- must watch
This video could give me an idea to watch a teen movie and receive some ideas
What we have done at 4th feb.
Today we never had a media lesson however, as a group we met up and attended to the workshop in order to finish our pitch which we will be presenting at tomorrow's lesson.
What i need to improve on
I think the posts im making is not enough and that i have to be posting more often, at least 4-7 posts a week. To make sure i have made myself a reminder every two days to make a relevant post about our project teen movies.
Different types of music
One of the songs that we found on Creative Commons was French Montana ft Kendrick Lamar and Jay Z. We found this song suitable for the opening of Adulthood because the main character has just come out of prison due to an incident that occurred in the past and is now walking around casually.
Another song that we found was a song by 50 Cent which was remixed. We think that this song would suit opening for American Pie because it talks about partying and American Pie is a teen movie where the characters only think about partying and having a good time.
We also found the song U.O.E.N.O by Rocko and a few other artists. We think this song will fit the opening of the film 'Get Rich or Die Tryin' by 50 Cent because both the song and the film relate to making money.
Finally we thought that the song by 'Meek Mill - Bout that life' was suitable for the opening of Attack The Block because in the opening the boys are mugging a lady because they are not 'Bout that Life'.

Our Production Company for our film 'Life@CANDI'
We have researched and found the Production Company 'ARCHER'S MARK' as the most suitable company for our film.
Risk Assessment
I was in charge of figuring out the risk involved while filming because there were a lot of risks around us even. I went out to the locations where we were going to film and figured out how we were going to film safely e.g: when crossing the road we will look left and right before each character cross and take out a umbrella to protect the equipment, we are going to use, just in case it rains.
When looking at the risks involved at filming I realised that it was not as straight as it seems to film in the public and that there are a lot more risks involved that need to be taken into account.
